Historical integration. New browser integrations should use WebUSB. Do not make Bridge installation a prerequisite for the current WebUSB flow.

The old Bridge transport exposed two checks:

Method	Historical success payload	Purpose
`checkBridgeStatus()`	`boolean`	Whether the local Bridge client is operational.
`checkTransportRelease()`	`string`	Local Bridge version status, documented as `valid` or `outdated`.

Both historical references use success and payload, with payload.error and an optional error code on failure. A passing Bridge check is not proof of device discovery, wallet access, or signing permission.

Before maintaining this flow, verify these exports and transport requirements in the exact SDK version used by your application. For migration, remove Bridge-specific checks and prompts and follow Bridge to common-connect WebUSB.
